Our products are mainly used in the food and beverage industry, treatment of metals, sugar production, treatment of water and effluents, animal nutrition, pharmaceutical industry, refinement of vegetable oils, production of biodiesel and in the production of special and foliar fertilizers. The purification procedure used by ICL is known as "liquid-liquid extraction" and it is divided in three main phases: pre-treatment, extraction by solvents and post-treatment.

ICL Brasil Ltda. buys 44.25% of the shares of FOSBRASIL S.A.

On December 10, 2014, ICL Brasil Ltda. ("ICL Brasil") executed with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense ("CADE") a settlement agreement in the context of the proceeding that approved the acquisition of 44.25% of the shares of FOSBRASIL S.A. ("FOSBRASIL") by ICL Brasil.
