It all started back in March, 1985. It was then that FOSBRASIL was set up. It was a
question of time before this promising company became the southern hemisphere’s top producer of wet purified phosphoric acid. It was thus that the project and installation of a phosphoric acid purifying facility was initiated in the countryside city of Cajati, São Paulo, with operations getting underway in 1987.
FOSBRASIL is presently owned and controlled by three companies: ICL Brasil, Bunge Fertilizantes e Prayon Rupel.
